Pressmob is a search engine to search for members of the press.
It shines a light on the mob of journalists and reporters who write the press articles we read online everyday.
The typically anonymous members of this mob are identified, analyzed, cataloged and indexed into a searchable and browseable database,
organized by their names, the publishers they write for, and the major topics and keywords they write about.
The search index is updated by continuously crawling the web sites of major and small town newspapers and blogs.
The Pressmob journalist and reporter search engine, and this web site,
are developed and maintained by Jeyendran Balakrishnan, a data scientist in California.
